Julie Perri teaches voice to all ability levels and piano to beginner players. She is also the Administrative Director for Mosaic Music Lessons. She received her degree in Vocal Performance from West Chester University with a Minor in Music History in 2020. During her time at West Chester she became the co-founder of A Chorus Line Company in 2017, a club on campus dedicated to providing musical theatre performance opportunities to students through student directed and led cabaret performances each semester. She was also the Parliamentarian of The Suspensions, a gender-inclusive Tenor/Bass a cappella group on campus, performing around the local community and other college campuses. In 2016, Julie began performing as Georgia in The Magic of Art at Sesame Place as an Actor/Singer. In 2019, she was also cast as Sam in Our Street is Sesame Street, finishing her performances in 2020 after 5 seasons. Throughout the years, Julie has been a member of the top choirs in all levels of her education, performing in Carnegie Hall, the White House, as well as the St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, Germany. She also was a Finalist for Musical Theatre singing at the NATS Eastern Regional Conferences in 2018 and 2019. Julie has experience singing a range of styles including classical, musical theatre belting, and contemporary R&B/rock styles.
Julie believes in music instruction that is engaging, exciting, and a supportive environment for students to express themselves and explore their individuality. She teaches with compassion and patience, fostering lifelong music lovers and providing a safe space for her students to learn and grow.
