About

Abby is an active student, teacher, and performer in the Chester County area. When not at Mosaic, she can be spotted in the West Chester University (WCU) Symphony Orchestra, WCU Percussion Ensemble, and occasionally the Chester County Pops Orchestra. Noted for her stage presence and phrasing, she recently performed Nathan Daughtrey’s Concerto for Vibraphone with the WCU Wind Symphony and was a first-place prize winner in Penn State University’s 2025 Marimba Festival. She is also a counselor and teacher at several local music camps and completed her first research project, “Bach on Marimba: Developing an Informed Performance,” as a 2024 WCU Summer Undergraduate Research Institute grantee. She is currently in her final year at WCU, where she is majoring in Instrumental Performance - Percussion Concentration. Prior to college, she took lessons with Lindsay at Mosaic. A Phoenixville graduate, she holds the town and its music scene close to heart and loves sharing this passion with her students.

Teaching Philosophy

Abby believes in treating each lesson as a collaborative process between teacher and student, meeting student goals while weaving in interdisciplinary learning. She seeks to create a supportive environment where students of all ages and experience levels feel comfortable being their authentic selves, growing their connection to music, and exploring their individual sound.
