Piano, Percussion, Beginner Ukulele

Abby is entering her second year at West Chester University, where she is majoring in

Instrumental Performance with a percussion concentration. At WCU, she enjoys participating in

a variety of concert, marching, student-led, and small group ensembles and recitals. In addition

to her studies on percussion, she is also minoring in Digital Marketing, picking up organ lessons,

and taking the occasional music education course. She has additional experience performing for

local events as both a soloist and accompanist on her first instrument of piano. Prior to college,

she took lessons with Lindsay at Mosaic, and is very excited to be returning to the community as

a teacher. A Phoenixville graduate, she holds the area and all its musical offerings very dear to

her heart, and takes so much joy in sharing this passion with her students.

Abby believes deeply in the ability of music to not only provide an emotional and creative outlet,

but also to promote the strengthening of skills that go well above and beyond musicianship. She

seeks to weave in outside concepts into her teaching and to individualize each lesson to a

students’ interests and needs, creating a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
