 Erik is a graduate of DeSales University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Minors in Chemistry and Music. While attending college, he played piano for Catholic Mass and tutored students in Music Theory. After graduating from college, he taught piano to several incredible students of all ages. Classically trained on the piano, Erik has successfully completed five Red Star Auditions as conferred upon by the American College of Musicians. He also successfully auditioned through the Northeastern Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association at Marywood University and performed one of Frédéric Chopin's many Polonaises during an Honors Recital at Carnegie Hall in New York City. 

Erik believes that no two students are identical, and therefore, lessons should be planned around the individual student's skill level and interests. He encourages students to develop proper piano technique while they simultaneously learn aspects of music theory commensurate with their musical abilities.
