Guitar and ukulele are super fun...but we tend to miss out on the sense of community that students in a school's band or orchestra program enjoy. Playing with others teaches us to listen, to blend, and to learn from our fellow musicians -- helping us grow as musicians and people.
Join Miss Lindsay for an hour of musical fusion and experience the benefits of the group dynamic in our first-ever strumming circle.
Any student participating can submit a song for the group to play, and Miss Lindsay will distribute chord sheets via email prior to the class.

Dive into drumming and race through rhythms with our first-ever bucket band drum circle! Designed for students of all levels, this class explores meter and rhythm in a group context.
Students will:
- Explore how to accompany a song using body percussion
- Learn how to identify rhythms by ear using hands-on activities
- Compose their own percussive accompaniment
- Discuss African drum circles and learn basic drumming patterns
- Participate in their own bucket band version of a drum circle
